Psychodrama Social Skills Camp

June 8th-June 12th (12:00pm-3:00pm) – Girls ages 12-14.
Participants will explore and learn social skills by increasing confidence and connecting with peers through action methods and trying on new roles.

Reading, Writing, and Math Camp

June 15th-June 19th and July 20th-24th (9:00am-12:00pm)
This intensive, one-to-one instructional reading, writing, and math camp is for all ages and learners. Using multi-sensory, comprehensive strategies based on reading research, skill areas will target phonemic awareness, phonics, spelling, reading fluency, vocabulary development, writing, higher-order thinking skills, and comprehension. Math sessions will cover key math concepts and skills. Small group instruction is combined with hands-on activities and games to make math interesting and fun for even the most reluctant mathematician. Utilizing the appropriate strategies and your child’s learning profile, a unique treatment plan is designed to meet your child’s specific needs and maximize individual gains. **All academic camps are taught by a certified ESE teacher.

Independent Functioning/Organizational Skills Camp

July 6th-10th and July 27th-31st (9:00am-12:00pm)
This intensive, week-long camp is offered to students who need assistance in the areas of independent functioning, organization, self-advocacy, and social skills. Students will work to develop coping strategies while they learn and model management, organization and self-monitoring skills. Students define goals for their work in collaboration with their tutor. This builds trust with the student, enhances motivation and demonstrates vital initiating, planning and problem-solving skills. ** All academic camps are taught by a certified ESE teacher.

USF Sports Camp

June 22nd – June 26th -(10:00am-1:00pm)
We are excited to offer our first USF sports camp for boys and girls ages 9-12. This camp allows students to be a part of various USF collegiate sports at USF Tampa. Students will tour sports facilities, meet USF coaches and athletes, and have an opportunity to learn new skills needed to play some of the sports offered at USF. This camp emphasizes the importance of academics, organization, responsibility and physical training that college athletes must have.

Life Skills and Career Management Group

Monday evenings from 6:00-7:30pm, beginning June 8th-July 27th (ages 16+)
This group uses a weekly curriculum to address social skills and professionalism in the work place, general topics will include: managing work relationships, understanding feelings, attitudes and expectations of self and others, and work etiquette.

Depression and Anxiety Teen Group

Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:00pm, beginning on June 9th-July 28th (ages 13-17)
This group will focus on coping skills, strategies and peer support for those struggling with symptoms related to anxiety and depression.

Expressive Arts Camp

July 13th-July 17th (1:00pm-4:00pm) ages 11-14
Utilizing various art techniques such as canvases, acrylic paints, watercolors, oil pastels and more, kids will showcase their artistic expression at the end of the week with an artist reception for their loved ones. All supplies included.

Adventure A Day Camp

August 3rd-August 7th (11:00am-4:00pm) ages 13+
This camp is all about having fun, making friends, trying new things and getting outside your comfort zone. Finish summer out strong with arcades, rides, fun in the sun and more- a new adventure each day!
