About Sierra Stadelman, M.A

Sierra is a Mental Health Counseling Intern with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Services from the University of Central Florida. Sierra has experience working with teens and adults. She has co-facilitated teen social skills groups with Pro Therapy Plus for the past few years and has worked with adults in clinical settings struggling with anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. Sierra has also worked in crisis stabilization where she gained experience working with clients with diagnoses that include depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Sierra also worked under a federally funded grant with a focus on integrative health care and substance use in which she participated in a variety of specialized events, served clients within integrated teams with the goal of holistic client care, and completed trainings in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, integrated health practices, motivational interviewing, suicide prevention, and culturally responsive counseling. Sierra is passionate about her work with clients and believes in facilitating a warm, client-centered environment in which the client is able to work towards realizing their therapeutic goals in a safe space.
