About Dr. Jacquelyn Flood
Dr. Flood is a licensed Clinical Psychologist with a Doctoral degree and a Masters of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University as well as a Bachelors of Arts degree in Special Education from Arizona State University. Dr. Flood has been licensed since 2006 and has worked in residential treatment for children, in private practice, as an active duty Army psychologist, and as a psychologist in the Army National Guard.
Dr. Flood is able to work with all ages from young children through adults with a variety of challenges. She is able to provide the following: individual therapy, family therapy, marriage/couples counseling, group therapy, play therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Prolonged Exposure (PE) for the treatment of PTSD. She is able to treat anxiety, depression, postpartum depression, grief/loss, challenges associated with TBI, emotional challenges as a result of pain, bipolar, ADHD, and autism. Dr. Flood is also able to treat any type of trauma to include but not limited to: physical abuse, sexual abuse, domestic violence, combat trauma, witnessing a traumatic event or being involved in a traumatic event. Dr. Flood has extensive knowledge treating active duty military as well as veterans and is able to treat Military Sexual Trauma (MST).
In addition to providing therapy, Dr. Flood is able to do psychological evaluation for children and adults to include but not limited to testing of: intelligence, achievement, gifted, ADHD, personality, emotional challenges, and behavioral challenges. Dr. Flood is trained to evaluate autism and is able to evaluate using the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) as needed.
Dr. Flood is able to accept Tricare at this time.
