About Dr. Daniel Agliata

Dr. Daniel Agliata earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2005. Upon earning his degree, he commissioned into the United States Air Force and served 4 years as an Active Duty military psychologist in TX, LA, and overseas. In 2008, Dr. Agliata completed his military obligation and moved to Tampa where he worked at the James A Haley VAMC for over 8yrs. There, he served as the Post Deployment Clinic Psychologist, Assistant Training Director for the Clinical Postdoctoral Program, Critical Incident Response Team, an APA Postdoctoral Program Accreditation Site Visitor, and Principal Investigator for an IRB approved study on military deployments. Dr. Agliata has held memberships with the American Psychological Association, the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and the American Pain Society.

Aside from his work at the Tampa VA, Dr. Agliata has served as a part-time independent practitioner for many years, specializing in the assessment and treatment of various educational and behavioral problems in children and adolescents. In late 2016, Dr. Agliata transitioned into full-time private practice where he continues to specialize in children and adolescents, as well as veteran and adult populations.
